War Child Canada is actively involved in organizing concerts that bring together musicians who understand the importance of standing up and raising their voices for issues they believe in.

On October 21, 2001, some of the biggest names in Canadian music banded together to present 'Music Without Borders Live', a concert held at Toronto's Air Canada Centre to raise funds urgently needed for Afghan civilians.  Among those who performed to a sold out crowd were The Tragically Hip, Our Lady Peace, The Barenaked Ladies, Alanis Morissette, Bruce Cockburn and Choclair.

On September 16th, 2000, War Child Canada held a free benefit concert in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This first annual War Child Canada concert featured one of Canada's most popular and successful bands: The Tragically Hip. The concert also featured performances by Chantal Kreviazuk, Angelique Kidjo and Wes “Maestro” Williams.  The artists drew a crowd of 80,000 and raised more than $250,000 for war-affected children.

On September 8th, 2001, War Child Canada held its second annual benefit concert in Winnipeg. This concert helped raise essential funds that made it possible to continue and expand War Child Canada's overseas humanitarian projects. Headlining the 2001 concert was Canada' s well-loved band, Our Lady Peace, leading female vocalist Chantal Kreviazuk, innovative worldbeat artist Kibwe and Calgary's energetic and dedicated Tegan and Sara.

"We are honoured to be involved with the War Child Canada concert in Winnipeg, War Child Canada is truly an amazing organization run by extraordinary people. Their intentions are pure and we are proud to be playing the concert." - Raine Maida, Our Lady Peace

"I have now seen the impact of war on children first hand. We all have an opportunity to make a difference here and I am proud to be able to do my part." - Chantal Kreviazuk

"It is an a honour to take part in this call for action on behalf of war-affected children, and it is our hope that thousands of voices will fill the Manitoba night sky with song and with thoughts and prayers for the first casualty of war: innocence."  - Gord Downie, The Tragically Hip
